General
What is the Web Globalization Report Card?
An independent research product that has tracked how the world's biggest companies localize their websites since 2005 — languages supported, global navigation, mobile design, and local-site quality, scored the same way every year.
How is the research done?
Nothing is outsourced or automated. Every tracked company is reviewed individually, every year — languages checked by hand, navigation tested across browsers and devices, and local sites visited from the point of view of the person they’re built for. See Methodology for the full scoring breakdown.
How often is the data updated?
Once a year. Each year's Report Card is published in stages as the research is completed, which is why you'll see the current year marked "in progress" until it's finished.
Can you add a company I think should be tracked?
Maybe — let us know. The tracked list focuses on large, globally recognized companies, but suggestions are welcome.
Subscriptions & billing
What's the difference between Free, Professional, and Enterprise?
Free gets you the Top 25 rankings, score breakdowns, and Language Tracker basics. Professional unlocks all 150 tracked companies and three years of history. Enterprise unlocks the complete 20-year archive plus extra seats for a team. Full comparison on Pricing.
How does billing work?
Professional and Enterprise are billed annually in advance through Stripe, and renew automatically each year unless you cancel first. We don't currently offer monthly billing.
How do I cancel?
From your account page, click "Manage billing" to open your subscription in Stripe's self-service portal and cancel there. Cancelling stops future renewals — you keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for.
Do you offer refunds?
Subscriptions are non-refundable — see our Terms of Service. If something’s wrong with your account or billing, contact us and we’ll sort it out.
How many people can use one subscription?
Free and Professional include 1 seat (one signed-in device at a time). Enterprise includes up to 3 named seats. Accounts and seats are personal — they're not meant to be shared logins.
Can I upgrade from Professional to Enterprise?
Yes — click Enterprise on the Pricing page while signed in. It updates your existing subscription rather than starting a second one, with the price difference prorated on your next invoice.
Can I add seats beyond Enterprise's 3?
Yes, through Custom Research — contact us and we’ll price it for your team.
Do you offer anything beyond Enterprise?
Yes — Custom Research, for teams that want commissioned analysis on top of the full archive. See the bottom of the Pricing page or get in touch.
Account & access
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Use "Forgot password?" on the login form to get a reset link by email.
Why am I being signed out on one device when I log in on another?
That's expected for Free and Professional accounts, which include one seat — signing in on a new device signs out the oldest active one. Enterprise includes up to three seats before this kicks in.
Do you have an API?
Not currently. If that would be useful for your team, let us know.
