Siemens began using language detection to redirect visitors based on the language of their browser. But this is an imperfect solution, particularly without a user-friendly global gateway. For a user in the US with a browser set to Spanish, they are taken to the Spain home page, as shown in the screenshots. The global gateway is a two-part gateway, which we found challenging to navigate. We did want to highlight the Catalyst program, which allows customers to support fellow customers, but would love to see AI leverage to auto-translate content to expand reach.
