Shopify went from 22 languages to 41 in just one year -- a massive global expansion. And the details of its localization are impressive -- notice how screenshots are also localized (which many companies overlook). The global template relies on video which we discourage but it is consistent. The global gateway, sadly, remains buried in the footer. Overall, however, Shopify is pushing forward globally in a huge way.

Shopify significant expanded the number of languages it supports which is reflected on the larger and more user-friendly global gateway. Notice how languages are also displayed -- which is hugely important to managing user expectations before they click on a country/region link. One note: The gateway has been overlocalized for some markets (see Japan) which should be rolled back to a "universal" gateway.
