Bayer launched a new design over the past year (see Before and After) that defaults to a full-page video, which we feel is a step in reverse in global usability. The global gateway also changed, but did not improve significantly. Bayer does an above-average job of localization.

Before & After
Bayer tweaked its global gateway when it launched a new website. The globe icon remains but, sadly, still only refers to switching languages within a locale. Adding "global" to the true global gateway helps but, ultimately, we'd like to see the global gateway elements streamlined.
